Our principles have always included a sensible environmental, ethical and sustainable stance:

• We don’t put our manufacturing out to tender each season to save a few pounds. We prefer to build long term relationships with small  producers, often in Europe. As a result our profit margins, whilst healthy, are about half that of many large retailers.

• We use organic, sustainable or recycled materials where suitable in our packaging, point of sale materials and some of our fabrics.  Our famous Polar Fleece collection is made from recycled plastic bottles, but it is still cosy, warm and comfortable with all the properties of performance level ski wear.   

• Nema, the charity we have chosen to support, is committed to sustainably reducing poverty in rural northern Mozambique and 100% of  our contributions are guaranteed to go directly to the beneficiaries of the charity. We have pledged to fund the building of two village schools as well as undertaking several one off contributions.
