What to buy for your pregnancy, birth and baby
Our aim at JoJo Maman Bébé is to offer a level of service seldom found in retail today. We wish to provide the knowledge and help that you deserve and need during this wonderful (but sometimes difficult) time.

Advice on what to do and buy during your pregnancy and for your new baby, comes thick and fast the minute you tell people you are pregnant. I felt like I was drowning in information and just wanted to do it my way. So I did, and a lot of my ideas, along with those of our designers and testers, are now in the JoJo collections.

My advice is not to buy too much, but make sure the items you do buy are what you need and are really useful… or are just too adorable to resist! Dressing my children before they could express an opinion was one of my greatest pleasures in life.

This little buying list gives you a quick, easy reference to the essentials. We believe in common sense and don’t want to bombard you with hundreds of options, just the best value products in their field.

Best wishes,

LAURA TENISON
Founder & MD

What to buy in early to mid pregnancy

One of the most important first items to purchase is a well designed comfortable maternity bra as it supports your breasts as they get bigger and heavier. You should start to wear a maternity bra as soon as your normal bra begins to feel uncomfortable. Try to get your maternity bra professionally fitted – we offer this service in our stores. Or click here to use our online maternity and nursing bra guide to help with sizing and measurement.

If you want to make your own clothes fit for a bit longer a useful item to buy is a bump bandeau. This buttons on to your own trousers or jeans and can be worn over or folded under the bump.
